We are excited to share this remarkable custom furniture project, featuring a show-stopping extra-long solid wood table and a matching low coffee table, tailored exclusively for our client’s brand-new residence.

The centerpiece of this project is the extra-long multi-functional solid wood table, designed with a one-of-a-kind dual-height structure to serve two distinct purposes, perfectly matching our client’s lifestyle. One side of the table is specially crafted for traditional tea ceremonies: our team professionally cut and fitted a large, precise drainage hole on the tabletop, seamlessly integrating with the client’s tea brewing set to ensure smooth water drainage during tea time, creating a practical and dedicated tea space. This tea ceremony side is equipped with shorter table legs, allowing the whole family and guests to sit cross-legged comfortably on the floor, enjoying relaxed tea time and casual conversations.

The opposite side of the table features standard-height legs, measuring 70cm from the ground, the ideal height for regular dining chairs. This side functions as a full-size dining table, perfect for family meals and entertaining friends. The clever dual-height design combines leisure and dining in one long table, maximizing both functionality and space utilization.

Due to the extraordinary length and solid wood craftsmanship, the table is incredibly heavy and robust. We used extra-long heavy-duty screws during production to ensure maximum structural stability and durability. Delivery and installation posed a unique challenge, especially since the client’s house was still under construction. The homeowner coordinated a team of over 8 workers, combining our installation crew and on-site construction workers, to carefully move and position the oversized table. Navigating tight corners and narrow passages to place the table in its designated spot required meticulous coordination, and we managed to fit it perfectly despite the difficult access.

In addition to this signature long table, the client also ordered a compact low-profile coffee table for the living room, placed in front of the TV unit. This sleek, low coffee table is ideal for displaying home decor, storing snacks, and holding daily small items, adding a cohesive and practical touch to the entire living space.
